Need for Speed Rivals racing game genre itself is a sport
that is developed by EA Sports developers, is the latest series of Need for
Speed. Need for Speed Rivals released on 19 November 2013 which can be
played on the PC , Xbox 360 , PlayStation 3 and will also be present on
next-gen consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In Need For Speed Rivals , players are given the option to
become a part of a racer or a cop, almost the same concept with Need For Speed
Hot Pursuit which was released in 2010. Need For Speed Rivals will also
maintain open-world map like Need For Speed Most Wanted earlier.
Developed by a subsidiary of Electronic Arts and Criterion
Games Ghost, this game was made using the Frostbite 3 engine and promises to
“bring the adrenaline and intensity” of the action romp between the police and
the drivers in open -road environment of Redview County . Players can choose to
play as a cop or a racer, and each party has a mission and a purpose and a
different reward. As a racer, players will” become famous for taking risks
behind the wheel. “Players will get Speedpoints to avoid the police and can use
the points to unlock new cars and items.
As cops, players will work together as part of a
team in pursuit of the drivers, and player ratings will go up when many drivers
are caught . If you already have a higher rating, then the player can get a new
police car and a better technology to catch the rider. This game has 11 gadgets
that can be upgraded, including the turbo boosts, jammers and EMPs for the
drivers , shockwaves, road barriers, and helicopters to police. In addition,
players can also customize their cars a personal liking. With the new feature
called Alldrive, players can move “easily” rom the single player mode and
multiplayer mode.
